One of the two main protagonists of Saezuru Tori wa Habatakanai. As a bodyguard, his job is to protect Yashiro, the young yakuza leader of Shinseikai.

He has a tall and built appearance, with short brown hair and dark-colored eyes. He rarely shows any expressions in the manga, and is unsure about his own emotions. After certain incident happened to him in the past, he lost all sexual desire and has been impotent ever since.

Despite his indifferent attitude toward anything else, he's very devoted to Yashiro and is able to put up with his abusive personality (and absurd requests). As his personal bodyguard, he usually accompanies Yashiro on daily basis, serving as both his attendant and caretaker.

He was a policeman before he went to jail for almost killing his own father in a tragic incident involving his younger step-sister. He was released on parole, then unknowingly applied to a yakuza company (which he thought was a normal financing company). Later he learned the truth, but decided not to quit after he saw Yashiro. He thought that if a beautiful person like Yashiro exists in the yakuza world, maybe it isn't so bad after all.
