Power (パワー)

Power is a prominent character in the manga and anime series Chainsaw Man by Tatsuki Fujimoto. Known for her wild and unpredictable nature, she starts as an antagonist but soon becomes one of the main protagonists alongside Denji and Aki Hayakawa.

Appearance

Power inhabits the corpse of an unknown woman or girl, presenting with long hair that typically appears blonde. Her hair color varies widely in different manga illustrations and official art, ranging from blonde to pink, and even dirty blonde, while in the anime, it is depicted as strawberry blonde. As a Fiend, Power's eyes are a distinctive red and yellow forming a cross pattern, and her teeth include pronounced fangs that accentuate her ferocious demeanor. She has light red horns protruding from the top of her head, which grow larger and more curved if she accumulates too much blood. In some instances, she can even sprout additional pairs of horns from the sides of her head.

Power's attire consists of the standard dress shirt, tie, and slacks that are required of Public Safety Devil Hunters, though she often wears her jacket hanging halfway off her body, contributing to her untidy and haphazard appearance. Additionally, she typically wears breast pads to enhance the appearance of her bust, further adding to her distinctive style.

Power is characterized by her brash and impulsive behavior, often acting without thinking about the consequences. She is fiercely independent but also shows a deep, albeit grudging, affection for her comrades, especially Denji. Power's interactions often include a mix of humorous and chaotic elements, which makes her a fan-favorite for her dynamic and unpredictable nature.

Abilities

Blood Manipulation: Power has the ability to freely manipulate the blood in her body to form weapons. She can also manipulate the blood of others through direct contact and can prevent excessive bleeding in those she manipulates.

Blood Hammer: Power can create a large hammer from her own blood, which she uses to crush her opponents. She can also form smaller handheld versions for more precise attacks.

Blood Knife: She can shape her blood into knives, which are used to stab or slice her targets. Power is proficient in dual-wielding these knives.

Blood Spear: By placing her blood in strategically located bottles, she can create spears that surprise her opponents by emerging from these hidden locations.

Blood Scythe: Power can form a scythe from her blood, using it to slice through her enemies with lethal efficiency.

Thousand Tera Blood Rain (Sauzando Tera Buraddo Rein): In her Full Devil form, Power can generate thousands of blood swords and spears from the blood surrounding her, levitate, and hurl them at her enemies.
